NCC

Welcome to our college NCC program page! The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a voluntary organization that aims to develop character, leadership, and a spirit of service among young people. Our college is proud to offer an NCC program that provides students with a unique opportunity to develop these qualities while pursuing their academic goals.

The NCC program at our college is open to all students, regardless of their academic discipline or prior military experience. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training, students will develop important skills such as discipline, teamwork, and leadership. Additionally, the program emphasizes physical fitness and outdoor activities, which are essential for building a healthy mind and body.

Our NCC program includes the following components:

  • Basic Training: The basic training component of the NCC program introduces students to the fundamental concepts and skills of military training. This includes physical fitness training, drill, and weapons training, as well as classroom instruction on military history and tactics.
  • Advanced Training: After completing basic training, students have the option to pursue advanced training in a variety of areas, such as leadership, marksmanship, mountaineering, and more. These courses provide students with an opportunity to develop specialized skills and knowledge in their areas of interest.
  • Community Service: Service to the community is an integral part of the NCC program. Students participate in a variety of community service projects, such as disaster relief, blood donation drives, and environmental clean-up efforts. This allows students to put their leadership and teamwork skills to use while making a positive impact in their local communities.
  • Adventure Training: Adventure training is an exciting component of the NCC program that includes activities such as trekking, rock climbing, and water sports. These activities are designed to challenge students physically and mentally, while also promoting teamwork and camaraderie.
  • By participating in the NCC program at our college, students will gain a variety of valuable skills and experiences that will benefit them in their academic and professional lives. Whether you are interested in pursuing a career in the military or simply want to develop leadership and teamwork skills, our NCC program has something to offer you!
