Admission to B.E. 1st year of the four years degree course is done strictly by policy laid down by AICTE & C.G. Government. As decided by the Supreme Court, C.G. Government has stipulated the following quota during the time of admission.
- Chhattisgarh Quota (Through PET) 75% of the total seats.
- All India Quota (Through AIEEE) 10% of the total seats.
- Management Quota 15% of the total seats.
Admission of the students for C.G. domiciled seats:-
According to the existing policy adopted by C.G. Government, candidates should take (PCM) in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) and have domicile certificate as approved by the C.G. Government to enable the student to be eligible to appear in “Pre Engineering Test” conducted by Vyapam , Raipur. The general students must obtain 45% mark & reserved quota students must obtain 40% marks in P+C+M. For admission students must obtain 10% marks in PET Examination.
A merit list is prepared & circulated by DTE, Raipur and online admission to different technical colleges & branches are done as per the availability and choice given by individual students.
Admission against all India Quota:-
Students from all states (including C.G.) having cleared 10+2 examination and are required certain percentage of marks in PCM as well as AIEEE examination to be eligible for admission. Online admission to different branches & colleges are done as per the merit list prepared by DTE, Raipur.
Direct Admission to Second Year (Lateral Entry) for Diploma Holders & B.Sc. Pass Students
Students clearing B.Sc. examination & Diploma holders securing 60% or more marks are eligible for direct admission to second year (Lateral Entry) against vacant seat.
However total number of students must not exceed the sanctioned strength of the branch.
